In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, the Player Character and the Partner Pokemon both have pretty set-in-stone personalities but can be a variety of Pokemon that depend on the specific game. Though there /are/ different PCs and Partners per game (it's not like, a continuous storyline) so maybe more granularity with what game is of interest to the nominator would be best?

For Grovyle, though, IIRC they show up in the Explorers games, so it could be Grovyle & EoT/D/S Player Character.

Who are the members of the Murder?

The Murder is the collective name for a finite set of named characters: Corvin, John, Philip, Guy, David, Amanda, Harry, Sheridan, George, Ned, Marianne, and Isabella. Think of them like members of a band.

Would the nominator be okay with nominating specific members they may want to request or "Original Member of Murder" and "Original Members of the Murder"?

The nomination as it is will be clear to fans of the book. Is it possible to keep it? This ship is frequently nominated this way because Corvin has canonically had sex with almost all the other members of the group and would be happy to do the rest given half a chance. "Original Member of the Murder" is an intriguing idea but not one I'm interested in for this; I'm just looking for the canonical characters.

That's my word vomit -- how about something like ... "aspec character newly out to themself gets support from someone who long ago embraced their own identity"? Though that sounds kind of judgey? I was thinking about someone who only recently realized their aspec identity becoming friends with someone who has lived with the identity for a long time and finding support there. No big deal if we can't massage it into something useful -- "aspec besties" is a big enough bucket to fit this relationship into!

Thank you for the clarification! I wasn't having much luck figuring out if the group had a set amount of characters with names hence my suggestion for "Original Member of the the Murder".

We're trying to avoid "Any Group Member(s)" nominations if possible, but this seems like the best nomination for what you are looking for and understandable to people who have read the book so we will accept it as is.

Thank you for the clarification! I think "aspec character newly out to themself gets support from someone who long ago embraced their own identity" doesn't sound judgey! I'm fine with approving that or something like "Aspec Character Who Recently Discovered Their Identity Finds Support From New Aspec Friend Who Embraced Their Identity Long Ago".
